The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026 call is now open.
These fellowships support the attraction and mobility of postdoctoral researchers through international research projects lasting:
- 12-24 months (European Fellowships)
- Up to 36 months (Global Fellowships)
MSCA Fellowships offer postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to:
- 🌍 Develop their research career internationally
- 🎓 Acquire new scientific and transferable skills
- 🤝 Work in an interdisciplinary and intersectoral environment
Obtaining an MSCA Fellowship is considered an internationally recognised mark of excellence for both the postdoctoral researcher and the supervising PI.
Fellowship types
- European Fellowships:
- For researchers moving within Europe or coming to Europe from any country worldwide
- Global Fellowships:
- For European nationals or long-term residents undertaking a project outside Europe followed by a mandatory return phase to Europe

Important eligibility conditions
Applicants must comply with the following requirements:
- 📅 Experience rule:
- Maximum 8 years of research experience after the PhD
- ✈️ Mobility rule:
- Researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the host country for more than 12 months during the last 3 years
- Applicants who scored below 80% in the 2025 MSCA PF call are not eligible for the 2026 call
