The United Leukodystrophy Foundation (ULF) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization serving patients and families both domestically and internationally. Its mission includes supporting leukodystrophy research, advancing clinical trials, and expanding newborn screening for these disorders.

Through the Research Grant Program, ULF aims to:

• Support the development of innovative treatments for leukodystrophies.

• Encourage the participation of early-career investigators.

• Foster impactful projects that advance knowledge and therapies for these rare genetic demyelinating disorders.
